The Thunder Volleyball program had some amazing success in the 2023 season. In only our second year we brought home 2 DivII undisputed national championship titles. We have our sights set on raising that level again in the Fall of 2024 and we want you to be a part of it.

NB Thunder Volleyball Placements are conducted to make team assignments for the upcoming fall season. Placements are open to homeschooled student-athletes who intend to play with the Thunder organization competitively in the fall. All events will be held at the Athletic Performance Center, 4787 Old Hwy 81 in New Braunfels.

BOOT CAMP
The first event will be a two-day Boot Camp for high school girls from 2 to 4 p.m., on Wednesday, May 8, and Thursday, May 9. This is a high-intensity, fast-paced camp conducted to prepare prospective student-athletes for the pace at which our Varsity team will practice and play. Those who wish to secure a position on the Varsity team are highly encouraged to attend. There is no cost, but the camp is open only to those who have registered and paid for the Girls High School tryout.

GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL TRYOUT
Girls who will be in grades 5 through 8 next fall and wish to play for the Thunder next season are encouraged to attend this tryout event, slated for 1 to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 10. The cost is $10.

BOYS TRYOUT
Boys who will be in grades 5 through 12 next fall and wish to play for the Thunder next season should attend this event, scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, May 11. Cost for this session is $10.

ALTERNATE EVALUATION
This session will be for MS or HS girls who wish to undergo an evaluation and cannot attend the regular weekday tryouts. The evaluation will be held between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday, May 11. The cost is $10.

GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL TRYOUT
This two-day event will happen from 2 to 4 p.m., on Monday, May 13, and Tuesday, May 14, and will serve as the final evaluation session for high school girls who wish to play for the Thunder in the fall. Cost for this event is $20.
