All of our sports are off for the summer, but things are starting to ramp up for football, with volleyball right behind. We have a few Fellowship opportunities this month for ALL THUNDER. We love a good opportunity to get together socially with our whole Thunder family. let me hit the highlights for you before my message loses the attention of friends with shorter attention spans. 🏈 Football clinics started last Monday and continue through the month of July. To say last week’s session was well attended is understating it. Mark your calendar and hit the field with us as the coaches prepare the boys for another hot season of friendly competition. DON’T forget to get hydrated ahead of time. 🌮July 30- Torchy’s Tacos Spirit Night at the Torchy’s in New Braunfels. Torchy’s is donating 15% of sales excluding alcohol, to NB Thunder. I always think this is a great time to get the team together even if it is your offseason to catch up. Plus yummy queso is never wrong. So put it in your calendar, text your teammates, and get together at Torchy’s. Just don’t forget to tell the cashier you are there for the fundraiser.

Letterman’s Jackets Fitting and Ordering
We are so excited to announce this addition for Thunder families. Thank you to Denise Wheeler and Carlie Dyer for making this happen for our athletes.
Meca Sportswear will be at the Athletic Performance Center on August 1 to get interested athletes sized for letter jackets and to take orders for jackets and patches. This is actually a local business and one within the homeschool community so I love that we get to add this while supporting a local homeschool family. Beginning at 2 pm.
This opportunity is available to all High School athletes in all sports.

💃Homecoming Weekend: Football Game 9/27; Homecoming Dance 9/28
Finally, Save the date, let’s show up in colors to support our football boys at their homecoming game on 9/27. Middle school plays first against the SA Patriots and then our High School Varsity boys take on the Conquerors of Calvary Baptist. Home games are the best, AND you can get your Thunder mums supplies at Hobby Lobby!!
The Dance will be at the Columbus Hall in New Braunfels the following evening, September 28 from 7-10 pm. We got DJ Jesse back again and he promises to raise the expectation set at last year’s dance. I am looking for volunteer chaperone’s and a little help coordinating this. Keep your 👀eyes peeled for dance registration and early bird pricing coming soon. This will be updated on the website and through social media. The dance is open to all homeschoolers, not limited to only THUNDER.
