Thunder to offer photography class

Edit: classes will begin on Thursday, January 23.
NB Thunder will offer Introduction to Digital Photography, a class for homeschooled students, beginning in the spring semester of 2025.

The class will be led by Brian Crismore, will feature multiple instructors, and focus on digital photography in both theory and practice. Sessions will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Westside Community Center, 2932 S IH Frontage Road, New Braunfels, TX 78130, and will begin on January 21.

“The greater New Braunfels area lacks a homeschool photography program, and I want to fill that need through NB Thunder,” said Crismore, who serves on the board of the third-year organization.

The biggest challenge to the students in participating is acquiring the necessary equipment, which students will need to provide for themselves. Crismore recommends a camera equivalent of a Canon 60D as a minimum and prefers gear on par with the Canon R7.

Alongside the equipment requirements, the cost for the class is $75/mo. Those interested should just plan to attend the first class session. For more information, please call 830-433-7467, or email brian.crismore@c-cresearch.com.
