Good afternoon Thunder Basketball and Happy Summer! We hope you are all getting some rest and relaxation, enjoying time away from the gym.

We are excited to already start thinking about this coming basketball season. We want to share some upcoming dates for our 4th Annual Skills Camp, parent meeting, tryouts, and more. See below for details and to get your calendar blocked off!

Skills Camp 2025

Our skills camp is designed to usher in the basketball season. It allows for players to get back in gym shape, show our program to interested families, and prepare for tryouts. This year we are splitting up the girls and guys skills camp dates to best accommodate our volleyball athletes. Skills Camp will include 7 unique gym sessions for the boys and 4 unique gym sessions for the girls. There are no 10U sessions scheduled at this time and are looking to have those later in the Fall.

Boys Skills Camp

Where –
1st Baptist NB
When –
Mondays / Thursdays starting 8/25 and ending 9/18 (Off Labor Day).
Ages -
12U Boys – 3:30 – 4:30
14U Boys – 4:30 – 5:30
All HS Boys – 5:30 – 7:00
Cost –
$90/participant for 2 day a week sessions or $45/participant for 1 day a week sessions

Parent Meeting

This year we are having a mandatory in person parent meeting. It will occur before tryouts. We want to communicate to you our policies and procedures for all things Thunder. This will better prepare all of us for tryouts and the season.

Tryouts 2025

Our program has been so blessed by growth in the last 3 years. There have been seasons where we did not have cuts and seasons where we have had to make cuts. This year will be no different. We anticipate having to make cuts again this season.
