NB Thunder Softball Hosts 2026 Season Tryouts 12-02-25

1 Dec by Laura Force

NB Thunder Softball is gearing up for another exciting season as the program hosts its 2026 tryouts tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2. Middle school and high school girls are invited to showcase their skills from 6:00–8:30 p.m. at Huber Ranch. Pre-registration is required, and tryouts are open exclusively to homeschooled students.
Launched in 2023, Thunder Softball has quickly become one of the fastest-growing and most successful programs in the NB Thunder family. Last season, the organization fielded both high school and middle school teams, highlighted by a strong 3rd-place finish at the TAIAO State Tournament. With momentum high and interest continuing to grow, Thunder is preparing for its most competitive year yet.
Under the leadership of Coach Mariah Delgado—who brings extensive collegiate playing experience and a passion for developing young athletes—the program emphasizes skill development, team culture, and opportunities for homeschooled students to compete at a high level. The varsity team is already setting its sights on a standout performance at the upcoming NACA Nationals.
The spring season begins in early January, with practices and home games held at Huber Ranch. Thunder encourages families to attend tryouts and join a program built on sportsmanship, growth, and community.
