All Gas, No Brakes—NB Thunder Cruises To Victory
Thunder softball delivered another explosive performance Saturday, earning a dominant 16–2 victory — marking the 4th win over a public school for the program this season.
The game was blown open with a huge nine-run second inning.
Game highlights:
• Ally Criddle and Lily Bailey each drove in runs with singles.
• Ashlyn Schmoekel brought one home after being hit by a pitch, and Annmarie Rusick delivered a big two-RBI single.
• Ada Dillon added an RBI walk, and Bailey capped the inning with an RBI triple.
✨Thunder finished with 10 hits on the day. Bella Martinez, Rusick, and Bailey each collected two hits and drove in two runs. Martinez also added two stolen bases as Thunder totaled five swipes on the base paths.
In the circle, Bella Martinez was strong through four innings, striking out six and keeping control from start to finish.💪
Defensively? Flawless again. Zero errors and locked in across the field with Caci Criddle leading the way defensively.
This program is building something special and is continuing to prove that Thunder softball is competing at a high level.
