Next Tuesday night, April 7th, the Thunder community gathers for a night that means more than just baseball — it’s a celebration of legacy, heart, and two very different journeys that have shaped this program.

📢 Join us at New Braunfels Little League (3565 TX-337 Loop, New Braunfels) as our Varsity Boys take on the Texans Homeschool team at 7pm in what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
Before the first pitch, at approximately 6:40pm we will pause to honor two seniors whose paths to this moment couldn’t be more different — yet both have left a meaningful mark on Thunder Baseball.⚡️⚾️

We celebrate Dawson Posey, who has been there since the beginning — helping lay the foundation, set the tone, and grow this program into what it is today. His years of commitment, leadership, and heart have helped build Thunder Baseball from the ground up.

And we celebrate Justin Mitchell, who joined the journey this year — stepping in with determination, embracing the team, and making an impact in his own way. His willingness to jump in, compete, and become part of the brotherhood speaks volumes about his character.

One helped start the story. One became part of it along the way. Both matter. Both have given to this team. Both deserve to be celebrated. They’ve put in the work when no one was watching, led by example, competed with grit, and represented “Thunder” with pride.

Now it’s our turn to show up for them.
