NB Thunder Varsity put together an impressive performance on Thursday at Franklin Ranch Community Park, showcasing both offensive firepower and solid team execution in two big wins.

The day got rolling quickly as Thunder exploded offensively in the first inning, highlighted by Ada Dillon’s inside-the-park home run, driving in three runs. Lily Bailey added a triple, and Ally Criddle contributed with a double to help build early momentum.

Dillon also led from the circle, delivering a strong outing over six innings while adding two hits and three RBIs at the plate. Gisi Martinez joined Dillon with multiple hits, and the team stayed aggressive on the bases, racking up five stolen bases while also turning a double play defensively.

In game two, Thunder took things to another level offensively. Bella Martinez delivered a standout performance, driving in six runs on three hits, including multiple clutch singles that fueled a massive scoring surge.

The lineup stayed hot from top to bottom, with contributions from Ally Criddle, Lily Bailey, Ashlyn Schmoekel, Dalilah Terry, Liberty Lega, and others, as Thunder piled up runs in bunches across multiple innings. The team showed patience at the plate, drawing 11 walks, and was relentless on the basepaths with 10 stolen bases.

In the circle, Thunder pitching was dominant. Bella Martinez threw two shutout innings, while Sienna Eisenlohr closed things out with a strong, scoreless relief appearance, striking out three. Defensively, Thunder was sharp and disciplined, playing error-free softball and turning another double play.

NB Thunder Varsity 2026 will begin bracket play Friday at 12 PM at Franklin Ranch Community Park. With one win, THUNDER will advance to the Championship Game at 3 PM
