NB Thunder Volleyball Program
The NB Thunder volleyball program began in the spring of 2022 and enjoyed some tremendous success in its inaugural season. Four girls teams and one boys team competed in organized interscholastic competitions for the 2022 season. Our girls varsity team captured a Silver Ball at the National Christian Homeschool Volleyball Championship.
This is competitive "school ball" and we play primarily against other homeschool groups and private schools in the area. Teams are formed with preference given to building the most competitive teams possible at each division at the time of evaluations. We make every effort to field as many teams as necessary, confined by the availabilities of gym space and willing volunteers.
Our high school teams play primarily within a 50-mile radius of New Braunfels, but could travel to play in tournaments in Houston, San Antonio, Round Rock, and Dallas. We attempt to limit middle school travel to the surrounding area and conclude with a state championship event in February.
Student-athletes must be primarily homeschooled and adhere to the NB Thunder eligibility requirements. Teams are constructed by age group, and athletes are assigned based on their age as of Sept. 1 of the current season.
Girls who wish to play in the upcoming season should register for our Placement Camp. Please contact us if you are unable to attend Placement Camp or have any questions.

Season Fees: Covers gym rentals for practices and games, tournament fees, coaching, uniforms and officials.
